Over twenty inches of snow and 35 mph winds. Boy do we have drifts! There are areas with no snow and than areas that the drifts go over the fence. The sun came out today and if you closed your eyes you could imagine being on a beach in Mexico! However, once you slipped and fell (because your eyes were closed) you knew that it wasn't sand but wet snow out there.
Boss man and Santa Fe(my brother) were out jumping the BIG TRACTOR as we hadn't ran it in a while. I was standing off a ways when a loud BOOM went off with black smoke! I heard laughing from the tractor both Boss Man and Santa Fe were alright, except the battery blew up. There are two large batteries on the tractor plus some little ones. Evidently way too cold when they went to jump it.
A big laugh and thanks that all are okay. Just need a new battery! We need cameras around here. Way to many funny things happen. Stay warm!
